"CBCT: Endodontic Applications and Interesting Cases" Presented By Dr. Juan Pablo Castro Cuelllar

As years go by more data is available on the significant advantages and many applications of CBCT in the field of Endodontics. To fully take advantage of it, the clinician should be familiar with its limitations and some of the available visualization tools. We will go through several cases that highlight those applications, advantages and limitations.
Program Objectives
At the completion of the program participants:
- Will have a comprehensive knowledge of the applications, advantages and limitations of CBCT in Endodontics.
- Should be able to recognize basic regional anatomical structures and artifacts which will improve their interpretation skills.
"Endodontic Irrigation: Principles and Application" Presented by Dr. Chris Hogden

Dental practitioners focus on cleaning, shaping, and obturating the root canal system during endodontic treatment. Recent evidence has demonstrated the limitation of our shaping abilities. This indicates the necessity of thorough chemical preparation. This presentation will review the current understanding of endodontic irrigation and the available clinical approaches.
Program Objectives
At the completion of the program, attendees will be able to:
- Understand the limitations of modern endodontic file systems to mechanically clean and shape the root canal system.
- Understand the principles involved in endodontic irrigations necessary to maximize canal cleanliness and/or disinfection.
- Understand the approaches to irrigant activation in endodontics.
