Course Description
This course will cover the most common or problematic autoimmune processes of the oral cavity to include: lichen planus, pemphigoid, lupus plasma cell gingivitis.
Course Objectives
At the end of this course, participants will:
- Be better able to identify and diagnose the covered autoimmune diseases.
- Realize the problems associated with biopsy submission and possible laboratory tests.
- Understand treatment modalities for proper patient management.
“Guided Implant Restorations” Presented by Dr. Greg Farris
Course Description
This course will provide an overview of the current literature related to guided implant restorations and basic protocol for a digital workflow. We will discuss coordination with specialists and share some treatment outcomes.
Course Objectives
At completion of this program, participants should:
- Be able to recognize clinical scenarios where a guided implant protocol may enhance treatment outcomes for the patient.
- Be able to communicate effectively with a specialist for appropriate case management.
- Be able to understand how to acquire the necessary digital information for treatment planning.
