The Midwest Regional Dental Public Health conference brings together dental public health professionals and students from Iowa and several nearby states including Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri and Michigan.  The conference is held in the fall (October) on a Sunday and Monday and includes sessions for dental students on Sunday afternoon, a keynote lecture and dinner for all attendees on Sunday night, and a full day session on Monday.

The conference has been held nearly every year since the 1990s through 2019, but the COVID-19 pandemic caused us to cancel the event in 2020, 2021 and for 2022.  However, we plan to resume the annual conference in 2023, with tentative plans to hold it at the Hyatt Hotel (formerly the Marriott) in Coralville, on October 15-16, 2023.  Mark your calendars!
