    In recent years, collegiate alumni or former faculty have included one university president, five Big Ten dental deans, three ADA trustees, three ADEA presidents,  and an IADR president. In addition, over 80% of Iowa Dental Association presidents are our alumni.

    Nearly 80% of Iowa's dentists are alumni of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry delivering over $800 million in oral health care services to Iowans annually. An estimated 99% of Iowans are within a 30-minute drive of a practicing University of Iowa alumnus.

Iowa dental alum's national dental care initiative recognized across Canada

Dr. Raj Khanuja, a 2000 graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, launched National Dental Care Day, a dignity-based dental care initiative recognized for expanding access to care across Canada.
