The Pediatric Dentistry Student Group recently completed a service project supported by a $1,000  grant received from the Crest and America’s Toothfairy organizations. The group assembled over 200 adult packets and over 300 children’s packets containing toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, colorful sand timers, and informational inserts. The packets were delivered to the Domestic Violence Intervention Program (DVIP) headquarters and will be distributed to children and parents in Johnson County who find themselves struggling to find a safe home life and are often in need of oral hygiene basic supplies. DVIP administrators were extremely grateful and appreciative for the packets.
