Edgar Garcia Zea, DDS
Introduction
Dr. Edgar García Zea obtained his DDS from Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil and later pursued a master's degree in Prosthodontics at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Dr. García Zea has extensive experience in private practice and academic roles, serving as a key opinion leader and educator in prosthodontics. Before joining the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, he taught at prestigious universities such as Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil (2014-2019) and Universidad de Especialidades Espíritu Santo (2020-2024), where he played a vital role in training the next generation of dental professionals. Additionally, he has directed numerous international courses in prosthodontics and digital dentistry across Latin America, sharing innovative protocols and techniques for complete dentures and adhesive restorations.
