Members of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry celebrated International Education Week (IEW) by pinning their home country, state, cities on a set of maps located on the third-floor link. The maps brought awareness to the week and highlighted the many ways international education and exchange opportunities prepare citizens for community building in national and international settings.

The University of Iowa celebrates IEW each year, serving as an example of our commitment to preparing Americans for a global environment and to attract future leaders from abroad to come to the U.S.  IEW is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, in partnership with universities around the country.
