Dr. Kyungsup Shin, the Ross D. Christensen Family Professor of Orthodontics, was recently invited to Jordan to serve as a keynote speaker at the International Jordanian Society of Pediatric Dentistry and Special Needs Congress held at the Dead Sea.

"I was grateful for this wonderful opportunity to engage in cross-disciplinary communication and share insights on providing high-quality dental care for young patients," says Shin.

During his visit, Shin delivered a keynote lecture and conducted a one-day workshop on interceptive orthodontic early treatment for pediatric patients in primary or mixed dentitions.

Outside of the meeting, Shin enjoyed immersing himself in the rich history and esteemed culture of Jordan. 

"The most memorable part was the warm welcome I received from the kind and hospitable people of Jordan," says Shin. "That made this experience even more enriching and unforgettable."
