Combined Program: Pediatric Dentistry & Dental Public Health

Through grant funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration1, the College of Dentistry has established a 3-year combined program in Pediatric Dentistry and Dental Public Health.  Students in the combined program will receive a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and a Master of Science degree in Dental Public Health upon completion of the program.

Students accepted into the combined program will receive full tuition support, health insurance coverage, travel support and a stipend of $50,000 per year.  Trainees must be U.S. citizens or foreign nationals that have been granted permanent residence in the United States. Strong preference will be given to graduates of U.S. or Canadian dental schools.

The funding for this combined program begins July 1, 2020, and we anticipate supporting 1-2 new trainees in the combined program each year.  Individuals interested in the combined Pediatric Dentistry – Dental Public Health program should apply to both the MS program in Dental Public Health, and the Pediatric Dentistry program.  Information on application procedures for each program can be found elsewhere on this page or via the Graduate Specialty Programs webpage.
