Anvita Maharishi, BDS, MS, MMSc
Introduction
Dr. Maharishi received her dental degree BDS from Devi Ahilya University in India. She also completed a fellowship in Oral Implantology in India. She maintained private practice for five years in general dentistry with special emphasis on implants and esthetics. Dr. Maharishi moved to Los Angeles in 2016 to pursue one-year advanced clinical training in Esthetic and restorative dentistry at UCLA, School of dentistry. She was a research assistant on several projects on translucent zirconia and calibrated photography for shade. Dr. Maharishi completed her Master of Science degree in Biomaterials and Clinical dentistry science at University of Alabama, Birmingham, School of dentistry and worked on wear with ceramic-based dental materials. Dr. Maharishi completed 3-year advanced graduate education in Prosthodontics at Harvard School of Dental Medicine along with Master of Medical Science (Oral Biology) degree. She is currently as assistant professor in the department of Family dentistry at University of Iowa, School of dentistry and dental clinics.
