After a 10 year career in public broadcasting, I enter the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1997. I received my Pediatric Dentistry Certificate in 1999 and opened my private practice, Pediatric Dentistry of Coralville, PC, in September of that year. I served children and adults with Special Healthcare needs for over 20 years in my office and was also an Adjunct Professor at the UICOD for about 18 years. In 2018 I sold my private practice and accepted a position as Clinical Assistant Professor in the UI Pediatric Dentistry Department. In 2020, I became a fulltime faculty member.
