Iowa Dentistry staff and faculty attended the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) sections on Business and Financial Administration and Clinic Administration (ADEA BFACA) in Pittsburgh, PA, on October 21-24. Scott Arneson, Brian Howe, Angie Bell, Nicole McGlynn, Ann Synan, Gregory Mahaffa and Alberto Gasparoni attended. Highlights include:

• Brian Howe was chair of the ADEA Clinic Administration section and co-chair of the Business Finance and Clinic Administration (BFACA) annual meeting
• Howe was also elected counselor of the Clinic Administration section (a 3-year term), presented at the section on Clinic Administration Members’ Forum, and moderated another panel.
• Ann Synan and Nicole McGlynn co-presented with representative from Tufts University on “Heath Equity: Improving Treatment Outcomes."
