The University of Iowa College of Dentistry's annual holiday ornament contest drew submissions from across the college. This year's competition saw 21 ornaments all decked out with holiday spirit and nods to coworkers, dentistry, and pop culture.

The competition begins each November when Dean Stanford selects an object for faculty and staff members to base their ornament around. After submissions close, members of the college and patients can vote on their favorite ornament. The only rule is that it must be able to hang from a tree. 

The People's Choice winner and Dean's Choice winner are yet to be announced.
