Dr. Alex Rubinov, a third-year resident in the Department of Periodontics, has been awarded First Place in the ePoster competition at the Academy of Osseointegration (AO) Annual Meeting held March 27-29, 2025, in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Rubinov's winning ePoster, Butterfly Graft: Optimizing Soft Tissue Outcomes in Adjacent Maxillary Implants using a Digital Approach, earned him a $500 cash prize and a commemorative plaque. He was formally recognized for this achievement during the AO's Business Meeting and Awards Ceremony on March 29.

In addition to the awards ceremony, Dr. Rubinov attended a special Awards Luncheon with AO leadership, including AO President Dr. Joerg Neugebauer and President-Elect Dr. Robert Vogel. During the luncheon, Dr. Rubinov had the opportunity for professional photographs alongside Drs. Neugebauer and Vogel.
