Dr. Julie Reynolds completes her term as chair of the Dental Quality Alliance (DQA) in 2025

Dr. Julie Reynolds, associate professor in the Department of Preventive and Community Dentistry at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, will complete her term as chair of the Dental Quality Alliance (DQA) at the end of 2025. She was recently honored for her service during the DQA’s fall meeting, held at the American Dental Association headquarters in Chicago.

The Dental Quality Alliance is a collaborative body of oral health–related organizations charged with developing and maintaining quality measures in dentistry. Its work supports improvements in care access, delivery, and oral health outcomes nationwide. DQA measures are used broadly across national quality measurement programs in both public and private sectors, and the alliance maintains a comprehensive State Oral Healthcare Quality dashboard that tracks care for Medicaid-enrolled adults, children, and pregnant individuals across all 50 states.

Reynolds will continue to serve on the alliance as the representative of the American Association of Public Health Dentistry.
