  • ADEA AADSAS Fee Assistance Program (FAP) Application Opens

    The ADEA AADSAS Fee Assistance Program (FAP) is a fee waiver program that helps eligible individuals who need financial support with their dental school application. Individuals approved for FAP receive a fee waiver for three dental school applications in ADEA AADSAS®.

  • ADEA AADSAS Application Opens

    May 12, 2026
    ADEA AADSAS® (ADEA Associated American Dental Schools Application Service) is the centralized application service for most U.S. and Canadian dental schools. ADEA AADSAS simplifies the application process, as you can submit one standardized application instead of individual applications to each program.

    Applicants selected for an interview will be contacted via email with additional details and instructions.

  • Application Deadline

    September 15, 2026 (11:59 pm EST)

    Deadline to submit ADEA AADSAS application.

  • Completed Application Deadline

    September 30, 2026 (11:59 pm EST)

    All application materials must be received and verified by ADEA AADSAS by this date. Applications that remain incomplete, including those missing official DAT scores, required letters of evaluation, or official transcripts, will be cancelled and removed from further consideration.

  • Interviews End

  • Decision Notification

    December 15, 2026

    Applicants will receive an official notification via the email address provided in their application.

    Accepted applicants will receive detailed instructions, including how to confirm enrollment, submitting required documentation, and preparing for orientation.

    Applicants who have been interviewed and are not offered immediate admission will receive a notification regarding their application status.

    Applicants who were not selected for admission are encouraged to reflect on their experiences, consider opportunities for growth, and explore the option to reapply in a future cycle if eligible.

  • Applicants Holding Positions at Multiple Institutions

    After March 5, 2026

    Dental schools participating in ADEA AADSAS will report to ADEA AADSAS by March 1 the names of candidates who hold a position in their entering class.

    After March 5, ADEA AADSAS will report to each institution the names of candidates in their entering class who are holding acceptance(s) at additional institutions. (Only names are reported with no other additional information.)

    The process for candidates holding multiple positions is as follows:

    Dental schools with candidates holding multiple positions on March 1 of the year of admission will contact such candidates and give them a minimum 15-day notice to affirm their position in the class or to withdraw their position.

    If the candidate does not respond within the allotted notification time frame, the dental school may choose to withdraw the candidate from the entering class.

    Notification times may be shortened after April 15.

    Dental schools will have the option of rescinding an offer of admission to candidates who are holding positions at multiple institutions.

  • Prerequisite Course Deadline

    June 30, 2027

    All admitted students must successfully complete the required prerequisite coursework by the designated deadline as a condition of enrollment.
