Chris Bogue, a 2002 graduate of the UI College of Dentistry, was installed as the 161st Iowa Dental Association President on May 3 during IDEAS24.

Five students were honored at the Pierre Fauchard, American College of Dentists, and International College of Dentists joint luncheon during the Iowa Dental Association meeting on May 3, 2024.

Jhanvi Desai and Dan Caplan received a $10,000 grant from the Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation to support a one-year pilot project that aims to increase awareness among students and communities across Iowa of various dental service models and career opportunities in underserved areas.

Clark Stanford, dean of the UI College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics, was awarded the Outstanding Service Award from the Iowa Dental Association (IDA) on May 3.
